mystery problem with image variations

We are developing a site which includes your plugin. We have a mystery plugin which I don’t know if you can help with please!

On this product we have set up attributes and variations with images as we have done with other products:

But once you start to click images some thumbnails start to duplicate and they don’t match the 5 options we have . Can you help? thanks

Hi Pete,

Thank you for reaching out to us. Please kindly do a plugin compatibility check by doing these steps to identify the error :

=> Deactivate all of your additional plugins except WooCommerce and Additional Variation Images Gallery Plugin.

=> See if the problem persists. If the issue is resolved, you can tell which plugin might be the culprit of this error by activating your additional plugins one by one.

If the plugin conflict check doesn’t help, please record me reproducing your issue using a tool like this? https://www.useloom.com
It helps me to figure out the issue quickly.

Many thanks for coming back to me. I can’t find any conflicts but in actual fact I think this may be to do with the way we have set up this product and the images  – rather than a plugin issue. I wonder if you could give me some advise please?

So this is the product:

We have 5 colour options so a colour for each. When a colour option is selected on the dropdown the colour selected replaces the ‘default’ image – and we end up 2 images of the selected colour but no image of the default. I don’t think this should be the expected behaviour if we have it set up right?
