front end of products not displaying variations properly

Hello! I am having issues with things not displaying properly…
1. please see Brooke by Estetica on front end (estetica is listed under brands), why is there red x’s through colours – no other product that I can see has this still happening?
2. our main big issue is products on front end are not “listening” to the variations on the back end, consistently. under brands, hairdo is chosen across 3 attributes and diff variations and it is fine on the front end. However, other brands, e.g. the brand Amore (for example, products Codi, Emy, Evanna, Long Top Mono) have a TON of colours shown on the front end when the back end has 11 variations selected for that product. One time this happened because a couple of variations were blank (but according to the instructions, if a price isn’t selected, the variation should not show up so this should not affect too many colours being displayed). other times, the variations are correct (e.g. 11 on back end) but the front end of product is displaying like 40?? I am very concerned this could be happening on multiple lines and products and don’t have time to go through 1000 products to double check back end variation numbers with front end display but also, have no way to correct this. can you please assist???
3. lastly, it is SOOO much work to have to in attributes program the colour swatch but then when I load the products and select the variation, the saved colour swatch doesn’t stay ‘saved’ and the colour swatch has to be reselected each time the variation is chosen and needs to be selected again from media library. why does the variation not “keep” the colour saved in the attributes sections? can this be corrected?
