Variation image display a blank screen when clicked

I have the WooCommerce Additional Variation Images plugin and when I click an image to enlarge it, it only displays a black/blank screen.  However, if  I add new a image to a product and click to enlarge it will work fine. I’m not sure what has changed that would make this happen, when new images added it works fine but for previously loaded images they do not display when clicked.

What I’ve tried so far:

  • Disabling and re-enabling the plugin
  • Installed Health Check & Troubleshooting
  • Deactivated all plugins and enabled only woocommerce and variation plugin on Twenty-One theme only

After trying these the issue still occurs.

Thanks for reaching out to us. We are sorry for your inconvenience.

Could you please temporarily deactivate our plugin? And check if the image is zoomable or not.

Note: It is working with new images. So, the issue is not coming from our plugin. Maybe some of your plugins have the functionality to regenerate images. Before regenerating an image you should keep a backup.

Thanks for getting back to me.

After deactivating the plug-in the image is not zoomable.   One thing I remember doing that could be an impact, is I have impleted a CDN, so the images are being served via CDN instead of directly from the server and it appears that new images are zoomable, but anything before the CDN isn’t.     Could that be the issue.  If the issue isn’t with your plug-in, where can you suggest I look?

Thanks for confirming that without our plugin it is not zoomable too.

Yes CDN can be an issue. So, you can test it by enabling/disabling CDN.
