Variation Swatches – cross on out of stock no longer works

On an out of stock product for https://getwooplugins.com/documentation/woocommerce-variation-swatches/#hide-blur-out-of-stock-product It just blurs the out of stock but no longer shows the cross.

I used the option Blur with Cross, but still no cross. Maybe this was broken in some update?

Hi Phillip,

First of all, give me a product page link as an example where you are facing such an issue. I will check.

Then please give us a temporary admin access to your site? We’ll try to investigate the issue for you.

You can add new users by going to Users > Add New set the user and password for us, set the role to admin and set the info here.

And add your site URL, login username, and password in the site login area. Follow this guideline: https://www.useloom.com/share/27c1f2ac633c4060b2da883d946107d7

Hope to hear from you soon!

Wow, well, I did not realize it but my plugin was outdated (normal plugin was 1.1.12 needed to go to 1.1.13 and PRO version was 1.1.8 needed to go to 1.1.13). I did the updates and it works better now: https://whitinganddaviscollection.com/product/python-tassel-wristlet/

I could have sworn I checked that, but oh well.

Maybe one more question as i have this email, is there a way with this plugin to add the swatches to the category listing pages? Right now ours looks like https://whitinganddaviscollection.com/product-category/handbags/ and the client would like something for the variations like https://www.coach.com/shop/women-handbags where the variation colors show on the category listing pages and even when you change the variation the picture updates and the link to the Product page links you right to that specific variation.

That is weird for the site, which page link showed maintenance? Please try again now, site is up and going.

I dont know what that website is in the screenshot. the page I am talking about is: https://whitinganddaviscollection.com/product-category/handbags/

On an individual product page like https://whitinganddaviscollection.com/product/python-tassel-wristlet/ we use your plugin to list the variations. How can I do those same variations on the product listing page?

Actually, looking on https://getwooplugins.com/plugins/woocommerce-variation-swatches/ I see the feature I want as:
Display Swatch in Catalog / Archive Page

Is there help documentation to make that happen?

That gets us pretty close – how do I make it so selecting the variation changes the product image as well (like it does on individual Product pages)?

Hakik Zaman

Hi Phillip,

Could you please explain a bit more? I am sorry that I could not get your query.

Thank you

Yes. On the product page itself, as we choose different variations, as long as the images are set up correctly, the main image changes to match the variation selected.

On the archive page, we can select the variation and add to cart properly, BUT the image above stays just as a initial image.

Can the archive page image update to change to the variation image – just like on the Product page?

No, I am sorry, it is a live customer site, I cannot provide access to it like that – they do not allow it.

Please let me know all other screen shots / recordings and info I can provide to help me understand how to do this setup.
