Astra Product Page layout changes sometimes

Site is WordPress + Astra theme + WooCommerce + TranslatePress for translation to DE, FR, IT, NL from the EN website + WPMU DEV CDN and caching.
I installed Variation Swatches free version this morning – very impressive!! I like PlugIns that just work … I’ll go Pro soon once the site is in production.
I’ve noticed a conflict between Variation Swatches and the Astra Single Product Page layout … we have multiple product images that you scroll to using a cursor keys or click on a gallery. However, once Variation Swatches was installed, on many pages the product image gallery was just spread out over the page and it wasn’t possible to select them. Ugly.
It is possible that using the clear transients feature in Variation Swatches (appears above the menu bar) caused this.
The workaround I found was to going in Astra Customisation, change the Single Product Page style and return to desired state, then publish, finally clearing all caches using HummingBird (WPMU DEV). This works most of the time, however sometimes the problem returns when using a different language (this may be just a cache and browser cache conflict).
I am just reporting this and wonder if it is a known conflict, and what to do about it!
