Thumbnails synced with swatches, is this possible?

I would like the thumbnail photos in the product page to work together with the color swatches, so if I click on a blue product, blue color and default attribute size gets selected and if I click a thumbnail that doesn’t belong to a variant the swatches selection is cleared.

I see it doesn’t work like that, the thumbnails are not related to the swatches, is this possible with your plugin? How should I set it up?
