conflict with ASE Plugin

Hi there, we’re experiencing backend issues with clickabillity In the backend on some plugins in combination with the getwooplugin, I contacted ASE plugins and they found out this should be the issue, see conversation below. is there a possibility you can fix the code on your end and send out an update? thanks!

hi there, we have an issue on our clients site. when we want to hide some items from the left panel, like ‘ pages ‘, when we click the checkbox and save, the checkbox is cleared. usually when we click this checkbox it also expands so we can choose to hide it till opened again.. also that doesnt work, clicking the arrow down next to the item doesn’t do anything.

I’ve taken a look. This is because of the way Variation Price Display For WooCommerce is adding it’s menu item “Variable Price” in the admin menu. On line 118 of  /includes/class-woo-variation-price-display-backend.php, they use a full URL for the $menu_slug portion of add_menu_page():

If this is changed to simply:

$settings_link = ‘admin.php?page=wc-settings&tab=woo-variation-price-display’;

The issue you see on ASE settings page is gone, as I just did on your site.

So you might want to copy your report and my reply here to the support forum of the Variation Price plugin, so, they might change the above line as suggested.
