How to Limit Variant Selection to 2 Rows in Shop View?

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for a way to limit the variant selection to display only 2 rows in the shop view, regardless of the number of available options.

For instance, some products have variants like S, M, L, XL, while others have options such as W36L34, W40L40, etc. Right now, depending on the product, it can take up more than 2 rows, which makes the layout inconsistent.

Is there a way to restrict the variant display to just 2 rows in the shop view? Ideally, with a “see more” or similar option for users to access additional variants.

Any advice or guidance would be much appreciated!

Hi Michael,

Did you try to reduce the swatch size for the archive pages from under the Styling tab?

If you enable the catalog mode, you can set a limit for the attributes.

Hopefully, this will help to achieve your goal.
