Is it possible (in technical) to add video directly instead of attaching to an image

Hello there,

About the plugin in question, our client complains that the method to add a video to a variation gallery is not intuitive. We wonder is there a way (in technical) to add video directly instead of attaching to an image. We have developers to make changes if you will give some instructions.
