Attribute disappearing when uploading image

Hello,

We’ve been having an issue with attributes disappearing from our products when we add photos with the Additional Variation Images Gallery plugin. The issue has been somewhat erratic and we’re not sure if it’s related to the plugin, to WooCommerce, or to something else, but perhaps you may be aware of issues, conflicts, or workarounds.

I’ve tried some basic steps like clearing browser cache and using a different browser, clearing site cache with the caching plugin we use.

Some background:

• We normally use 3 attributes (size, finish, and candle style)
• In general, we do not use variable images for candle style. Usually there are variable images for sizes, and often for finish
• We’ve only noticed the issue in the past 2 weeks; however, we’ve only been working intensely on this project for slightly longer than that.
• We normally add our attributes, then open the panel to set specifications (including images) for each product. After uploading variable images, the “candle style” attribute simply disappears.

Here are the observations we’ve been able to make:

• It only seems to occur once we’ve been editing 3 or 4 products on a given day; after that, it happens consistently (ie, the first couple of times we create variable products on a given day, there are no issues)
• It only affects the attribute “Candle style” (we are normally using three variations – size, finish, and candle style). We’ve already added the attribute, but it disappears after uploading images for variations. 
• It only seems to happen when we upload images within the plugin features for the variable images. If we choose images already in the media library, it doesn’t seem to occur. (We’re uploading to the media library first, now, as a workaround).
