Hi Gemma,
Thanks for reaching out to us. We are sorry for your inconvenience.
Could you record me reproducing your issue using a tool like this? https://www.useloom.com
It helps me to quickly figure out the issue.
Hope to hear from you soon!
Thank you
no worries, i will start this later today.

All products shown have spent weeks ‘publish pending’
Lightspeed Tech sent me the following:
I ran another republishing test on Possum Tails to get fresh logs and it did republish once more. However, it did take a fairly long time to publish. As well I can see during the initial publishing we received this error: Lightspeed Retail received a response from the server in an unexpected format (text/html) when trying connect to your WooCommerce store.
That usually means there was some manner of change or issue with the WooCommerce API or the web hosting account settings which unfortunately are out of Lightspeed’s scope to investigate and troubleshoot.
I also tested your Beef Extra product which I could see was pending. This one is still being impacted with the error of: “Lightspeed Retail received an invalid API response from the server when trying to connect your WooCommerce store.”
So this does point to in conjunction with the first error to something going on in your API. This error however can be somewhat broad and imprecise and given that both products have images I’d like to ask if we could have the image taken off Beef Extra and then try republishing just as a quick test to assure it isn’t an image issue. The reason for this as well is for Possum Tails the long hang-up with my republish was when it was pushing over the image so there may be a connection.
I hope this helps
Hi Gemma,
Are you able to add variable products if our Variation Swatches plugin is deactivated?
Hope to hear from you soon!
Thank You
I will create a dummy of our live page to trial, as i have disabled it for the moment.
Clone Website – https://gemmam6.sg-host.com/
New Variable Product via Lightspeed dashboard – https://gemmam6.sg-host.com/product/testing-chunky-meat
An Original Variable Product created via WooCommerce – https://gemmam6.sg-host.com/product/local-delivery
These seem to be working ok on the clone. I’m not too sure why that would be.
Lightspeed Point of Sale issue with this plugin
Gemma Mantala
Hi there
I no longer can add a variable product into WooCommerce (via Lightspeed) since installing this plugin.
I got the following message from them:
“this issue seems to be replicating with variant products. A few things that our eCommerce Integration team has noticed is that the legacy API isn’t enabled. This might or might not be causing the issue. They have reached out to our Product Specialist to clarify this further. Also, it could be an issue with the API keys. Will update you as soon as we hear back from our Product Specialist.”
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated
Kind regards, Gemma
