swatch does not show image for this variation for this product on single product page

hello , here on this single product : http://reneerushbrook.com/tps/product/hub-2-plus/?epc_purge_all=1

it has attribute “color” black or white as terms. the variation for ‘black’ has an image set, and the variation for ‘white’ has an image set too. However they are not showing through on the single product page. Inly if I manually go into : Edit product > swatch settings > cool > black > choose image and add the image here then it shows up.

I had understood the plugin would show the variation image for the variation automatically pulling it from the image I have set for the black variation a nd the white variation?
