Problem with Variation Swatches on Shop Page Content when using Thrive Themes

Hi,

I’m using Variation Swatches on a website along with Thrive Themes as the page builder, and I’m finding that the swatches render correctly on product pages but not on shop pages.

Here’s a view of a product page: https://share.getcloudapp.com/lluY1YXv
Here’s a view of a shop page: https://share.getcloudapp.com/YEuolo4x

Can you please take a look and see if this is fixable at your end?

Kind regards,
Patrick

Hi Patrick,

Thanks for reaching us. We are sorry for your inconvenience.

Could you send us the latest version of the theme that you are using on your site? We’ll try to investigate your issue by installing your theme on our local setup.

You can upload the theme file in Dropbox or Google Drive and send the download link here directly.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Thank you.

Hi Golam,

I contacted Thrive with your request and here is their response:

“Hello Patrick,

Unfortunately, we can’t provide a copy of our Thrive Theme Builder and we can’t share the files, as they will not be useful, without a license.

My suggestion is for them to get their own copy of Thrive Theme Builder and debug on that. Aside from fixing the plugin on your website they can also make their plugin compatible with our theme.

They can purchase a copy of our theme editor and make a refund after debugging. We can give them a refund as long as they are still in our 30-day money-back guarantee.

I hope this helps. Thanks

Best regards,
Jhim”

Hi Golam, It’s me again. I think Thrive’s suggestion that you purchase the product, perform your investigation and then seek a refund within the 30-day window is a good one. Does it work for you? If not or if you need anything else from me, please let me know.

I look forward to your fast resolution of this issue:)

Kind regards,
Patrick

Hi Golam,

I did as you said, but when I try to install the new version of the plugin, the install fails and I get this message: https://share.getcloudapp.com/Z4ukJXDQ

Seems that I need to first delete the pro version of the plugin from my site – is that correct? If I do so, will I lose my settings?

Looking forward to hearing back from you,

Patrick

Hi Patrik,

You are right. You need to first delete the PRO version.

Do not worry, your settings should be fine.

Please add your domain to our site to get automatic updates in the future.

Let me know if this solves your problem.

Thank you.

Hi Golam,

I deleted the old pro version and installed version 1.0.55, but the problem persists.

I do hope you can assist me with getting the plugin working with Thrive Themes.

Let me know if there’s anything else I can do to help.

Kind regards,
Patrick

Hi Golam,

The plugin is working fine for me now, too.

I’m just wondering if you made any changes to the plugin to address the problem or if it resolved on its own… possibly due to a plugin update by Thrive or an update by another of the plugins on the site that might have been causing a conflict.

Looking forward to hearing back from you,
Patrick

Hi Patrik,

You needed the latest PRO version and it has solved your problem.

Everything should be fine from this point. Can I close the ticket now?

BTW, stay safe and take care of your family. Hopefully, the Covid-19 outbreak will end up soon.

Thank you.

Thanks for letting me know. All good here now – you may close the ticket.:)
