Thank You

You need to scroll down in that sidebar. After that page starts freezing. But you just clicked shop categories.

Hello Jective Alermo,

We are sorry for your inconvenience. We have tried to figure out the issue and we found the sidebar is conflicting so It would be better if you contact your theme support team about the issue.

And explain to them that since you need the variation option on the shop page so it needs to trigger add-to-cart-variation.js each time of variation item selection but when you open the sidebar and scroll down then it’s infinitely hitting by the mouse-wheel event.

We are recommending you to hide the left sidebar from theme settings https://prnt.sc/qkbm0p

Thank you

Theme’s developers ask me for more information:

Do you mean that the event is triggered when you scroll the sidebar? Does it relate to our theme event or some event in the plugin? Could you please specify the information?

Tanvirul Haque

Hi Jective Alermo,

Yes, that event is triggered when you scroll the sidebar.

Variation Swatches option needs to trigger add-to-cart-variation.js each time when variation item is selected and when you open the sidebar and scroll down then it’s infinitely hitting by the mouse-wheel event.

So we think it’s related to theme event.

We are willing to happy to assist you please don’t hesitate to any ask any question.

Thank you

Again, here is theme’s support reply:

the sidebar and scroll down then it’s infinitely hitting by the mouse-wheel event.
Our theme doesn’t have any events on mouse-wheel trigger. Does this event added by the plugin? Could you or plugin’s developers point us to the part of code where it is written so we can better understand this and check?

If this trigger really used by Swatches plugin, can i use some code for disable that trigger when sidebar is open?

This is the last answer of theme’s support.

It happens because of a function that triggered on our lazy load action that also connected to the hidden sidebar scroll https://prnt.sc/qnezv3
This code should be removed from the plugin to fix this.

But as i understand if i delete that code (in Swatches plugin) i will have some problems with compatibility?

Tanvirul Haque

Hi Jective,

Woodmart theme has an infinite product load features, and we wrote this code https://prnt.sc/qnezv3 to support variation swatches on the product list page after infinite scroll.

If you don’t need their infinite scroll product load feature with variation swatches then you may remove this code.
So we are going to add a namespace and then a developer can easily unattached this code.

we will make it available with the coming version.

Cheers!

Hi Jective,

Could you update your free and premium version of WooCommerce Variation Swatches plugin?

And use this js code on your theme to disable that code:
jQuery(document).off('wood-images-loaded.wvs');

Please let me know your reported issue has been fixed or not in this latest update?

Thank You
