Variation Images Gallery For WooCommerce – Starter Lifetime

Brian Hanson

Good evening.

I have recently purchased the Variation Images Gallery For WooCommerce – Starter Lifetime in order to display multiple images for different colours. I have set up the two different colours under attributes as per below screenshot.

Screenshot 2025-01-06 at 4.11.50 PM.png

When I go to variations, I see both colours available.

I have inserted a product slider and added the entry I require.

I require this product slider to be on the same page with the colour options below which change when you select the colour and image you want to view. The issue I’m facing at the moment are below:

  • Colours aren’t showing below the product slider on the page
  • You have to link the product page to view the variations
  • I can only see one colour even though in the attributes, there are two

  • I am unable to view the variations unless I set a price. I ideally don’t want to show a price

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Brian,

I hope that you are doing great.

Please share the product page link here.

Colours aren’t showing below the product slider on the page.

Can you display the default drop-downs under the slider? Our plugin replaces the default drop-down.

I am unable to view the variations unless I set a price. I ideally don’t want to show a price

WooCommerce does not display the variations on the front end if a price is not set.

You should try other methods to hide the price (like hiding the price with CSS).

Thank You

Hi Golam.

There is no default drop down. Here is the product slider I’ve added.

Please advise if there is a shortcode I should use in order to display your one.

Thanks

Richard.

Hi Brian,

It seems like you tried to attach screenshots.

Unfortunately, the image attachment has failed.

Please upload the screenshot here: https://paste.pics/ and share the generated link with us.

Please advise if there is a shortcode I should use in order to display your one.

Unfortunately, we don’t have any shortcodes for the single product pages.

If you can display the default drop-down there, our plugin will turn it into swatches.

Thank You

Hi Brian,

We are at UTC+06:00.

Unfortunately, we don’t have any options or shortcodes to include the swatch inside the product slider.

The swatches will automatically appear if you can include the default drop-down inside the product slider.

If you have more questions or confusion, please let us know.

Thank you

Brian Hanson

Hi Golam.

Would it be easier if I record the screen and show you the set-up? I’ve followed the instructions but it’s still not working.

Thanks

Hi Brian,

Though you have added two attributes, you have created only one variation.

Please add and configure the second variation.

I have tried to replicate the issue. Please watch this screencast.

Hopefully, this will help. Otherwise, please share a screencast explaining the issue.

Thank You

Brian Hanson

Hi Golam.

I’ve already done that, thanks.

What we’re looking for it to be able to have the variation switches on the same page and not have it linked to the product page. Example here – https://paste.pics/SN2ND

Ideally, we would like the colours to display below like this – https://paste.pics/SN2OS

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Golam.

Chasing up on my previous question in the ticket above.

Thanks

Brian Hanson

Hi Golam.

This is how we want the colour swatches to show. We want them below the slider and to stay on the same page, not link to the product page.

Please advise.

Thanks

Hi Brian,

We apologize for the delayed response (it was our weekend).

Please share a product page link with the product slider.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Thank You

Hi Golam.

Here is the link to our dev env – https://dev-us-bulletproofing.pantheonsite.io/products/doors/usad-1000/

Ideally, we would like the colour swatches below the product slider as per screen shot – https://paste.pics/SN2OS

rather than on the actual product page – https://dev-us-bulletproofing.pantheonsite.io/product/usad-1000-bulletproof-doors/

Also, I have added in a new attribute and variation called “Type of door”. I’ve added images of the single doors to the single door variation and the same for double door variation, but it’s displaying all of the images. Can you also advise on that? Screen shot here – https://paste.pics/SNKES

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks.

Please try removing the highlighted variations.
